The LPAA and LPA host membership meetings and other events throughout the year — including an Arts Advocacy Day at the state capitol in Baton Rouge each May. Here’s a list of what’s planned for 2010-11:

Regional meetings will be scheduled in cooperation with the Regional Development Agencies from March 15 to April 15, 2011. Please watch for more information on these meetings. Members of the Board of Directors will be on hand at each meeting to provide an update on the “State of the Arts” and to gather information to help us better prepare for “Advocacy Day in the Capitol.”

May 2011: “Advocacy Day in the Capitol”
